Meet Bianca Niejalke

Bianca grew up on a sheep farm in outback NSW near Wanaaring. My family moved to Southeast South Australia when I was in upper primary. I have always enjoyed sport whether it be Netball, Basketball, Cricket, Swimming and Athletics. I developed a passion for gym work and fitness classes in my 20's and progressed onto weight training.

I moved with my eldest son to the Mallee after meeting my partner back in 2012 and settling into the local community. I worked in the local bank before venturing out into my own business as an insurance broker which I still do today. During this time, we had two gorgeous children. A little girl followed by a cute little boy.

Our pregnancy journey has been challenging to say the least with a myriad of health concerns we had to conquer. Fitness became such an important part of this as it not only helped with my mental health during this time but also gave my body the best possible chance of succeeding as we experienced 4 second trimester losses. Perserverance won in the end, and we are overjoyed to have the two children plus my elder son that we have.

Fitness has been my constant passion and companion throughout our pregnancy journey and a few injuries that I have had along the way. When the opportunity arose to apply for a scholarship to complete cert 3 & 4 in Fitness I jumped at the chance with the support of another local PT and my partner. I was ready to give back to the community that supported us during our trials as I understand how important fitness is to mental wellbeing.

There are many benefits to staying active and healthy. Keeping active promotes brain health and mental wellbeing, it prevents diseases, strengthens bones and muscles, improves heart health, improves sleep, reduces anxiety and depression and can increase life expectancy. Come along, have a laugh, get a sweat on with some friends and spend some time making the best version of yourself. I can't wait to see you.
