Active Farmers classes go ONLINE!

Active Farmers are now taking classes online in many communities through various platforms, and so we decided to ask some of our participants what they thought!

Andy & Jeanette Ross are founding Active Farmers participants from Mangoplah in NSW, so we thought it fitting to ask them a few questions:

Andy Ross, a founding Active Farmers participants, with a message about going ONLINE during the Covid-19 period in April 2020

How long have you been an Active Farmer for?
Since it started back in 2015.

How have you found the transition to Active Farmers online classes?
Very easy.

Were you concerned about using technology?
No, the technology is easy after a couple of times.

Did you find it gave some reprieve from the current pandemic and isolation?
It gives some time out from the day to day. Very similar to classes prior to Covid-19.

What would you recommend to someone thinking about joining Active Farmers online?
Absolutely join a online class.

What are the benefits of continuing Active Farmers online during this time?
Feeling good afterwards.

“It’s actually quite fun!! We just want more people to benefit from the exercise and the chat/sense of connection!”

We are working really hard between the scenes to move every community online, and if you would like more information about what your community is doing, contact your Trainer. Otherwise, we will always have a feature Trainer on Facebook every Tuesday at 9am doing a LIVE class.
