The perfect porridge recipe

The perfect porridge to power your day with all the good things ☺️ protein ✔️ good quality carbs ✔️ fibre ✔️ fruit ✔️ healthy fats ✔️

Serves 1

Ingredients:
1/2 cup traditional rolled oats (or rice or quinoa flakes)
1 1/4 cup of milk or water as per your preference (or a combination of both)
Cinnamon
1/2 apple, chopped or grated
Almonds, chopped
Honey

Method:
Add oats and milk/water to saucepan or microwave and cook until liquid is absorbed (it is a good idea to stir whilst cooking)
Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon, apple, almonds and a drizzle of honey + more milk if you prefer!
